71-Mile Mountain Bike Ride

Jim LeMonds will talk about his 71 ride, where he mountain biked 71 miles at the age of 71 to raise money for charity.

Jim taught English in the Longview School District for 30 years. He published two books about the Northwest and has authored numerous articles for newspaper, magazines, and websites. He is currently the editor of the Cowlitz Historical Quarterly. Jim has been a mountain biker for 30 years and has been involved in many work parties to improve area trails for recreationalists.
