This year’s Learning & Celebration is crafted for all members but especially for Avenue of Service leaders, and those ready to step into project leadership with greater clarity, confidence, and connection. Whether you serve in Club, Vocational, Community, International, Youth, Foundation, or Membership, you’ll return home with sharpened skills, practical tools, and a few new friends who now answer your late-night “Has anyone tried this?” texts.

?? NEW: International Service Workshop (Limited to 40)
On Friday morning, the District International Service Committee will host an interactive workshop focused on building sustainable, high-impact global projects .
Participants will collaborate, explore funding pathways, access expert resources, and learn how to measure meaningful outcomes. If you’ve ever wondered how to move from “great idea” to “lasting impact,” this is your room.
?? Keynotes That Stretch and Strengthen Leaders
- Past RI President Jennifer Jones (virtual live) will share her powerful perspective on storytelling, inclusion, and leadership that moves the world forward . As Rotary’s first female president, her message of equity and courageous service resonates across every Avenue.
- Ryan Mayfield, Rotary Peace Fellowship candidate and conflict-resolution innovator, brings a Pacific Northwest lens to global peacebuilding . His work at the intersection of AI, crisis response, and human communication invites us to think differently about how we “Unite for Good.”
- Michael Angelo Caruso, past district governor and internationally recognized speaker, will energize us with practical, memorable tools for proactive leadership communication . Expect laughter, insight, and at least one phrase you’ll repeat at your next board meeting.

Entrepreneurs from Africa will pitch their projects during a general session—and attendees will vote to award a $1,000 USD grant . It’s global impact meets audience participation. (No life jackets required.)
