One of Kelso Rotary’s most meaningful traditions each year is celebrating and supporting the next generation of leaders in our community. This year, we are proud to award a total of $24,000 in scholarships to 15 outstanding graduates from Kelso and Castle Rock high schools—11 from Kelso and 4 from Castle Rock.
These scholarships reflect Rotary’s ongoing commitment to investing in youth, education, and the future of our community. Among this year’s awards are the Don Lemmons Memorial Scholarship, the Make a Difference Scholarship, as well as a combination of merit-based and vocational scholarships—ensuring support for students pursuing a variety of educational and career paths.
Each recipient was selected not only for their academic achievements, but also for their character, leadership, and dedication to service. They represent the very best of our community and embody the values that Rotary strives to promote—integrity, hard work, and a desire to make a positive impact.
We are incredibly grateful to our members, donors, and supporters who make these scholarships possible year after year. Their generosity allows us to continue opening doors and creating opportunities for local students as they begin the next chapter of their journeys—whether that’s college, trade school, or entering the workforce.
